I have now raced a bicycle in every type of bike-related race, except BMX, and I must say that cyclocross is the most fun…. and the most painful. It takes the handling skills of a mountain biker, the group riding skills of a road cyclists, the full gas of a criterium racer, and the pedal-to-your-puke-point […]
While Lance captivated the headlines from last weekend’s Tour de Gruene, Peak Fitness Racing athletes won the most booty! We had 12 teammates compete in the individual and team time trials and earned 4 first places and 9 podium spots! A special congratulations go out to Cole and Mike Adams for winning their respective […]
This past Friday 7 Peak Fitness Racing teammates headed out to God’s country - Ft. Davis - for our 3rd attempt at Texas’ most difficult stage race - Hammerfest. This is one of the most beautiful, scenic, lactic acid inducing places in the state. The base elevation is 5200 ft […]
The Adams Boys Take Tour de Gruene
Cole and Mike Adams placed first in their division (Leichtestengruppe age 80-99) with a time of 1:07, bettering their 1st place time last year by almost 30 seconds. Their average speed was a blazing 23.8 and they were only 7 minutes off the overall winners, Pro Tour rider […]
And we have a few races left! These are some impressive results for a new team that only started getting organized just a year ago! For a team that truly focuses on recruiting good, nice people that bring an encouraging attitude to train and race every day, these results seem unlikely! But […]
PFR’s Kara Bunce and Dan Scott smoked the Longhorn Tri Iron Distance! Kara finished 3rd in her age group and 14th out of all women. Dan placed 5th in his age group and 14th out of all men. They make a pretty speedy couple! Vince Rosetta completed the 56 mile bike course […]
We represented well!

Our man Jim took home 1st place in his 5th road race ever at the Tree of Life crit tonight! That’s on top of a 3rd place last weekend at the NORBA Wee-Chi-Tah MTB time trial (on a single speed no less) and a couple of top 10s in his crit racing debut a […]
PFR teammate Paul Frost and his 4-year old daughter Hannah placed 5th overall on a slightly hilly (although with a stroller it seemed mountainous) Live Oak 5k course last weekend with a time of 19:10 (ish). That’s a 6:10/mile pace to you and me and smokin’ fast without the stroller. Go Paul and Hannah!
Brian Ricketts, who 3 years ago wasn’t a “runner”, just completed his first 50 miler in Washington - the White River 50. It’s a very tough race, yet he finished in 11:51!!! Congrats Brian, you’re the man! Although I’m sure having Vince as your crew made it just that much easier… good job guys! Read […]
